#3-Die Hard
When I went to see this movie, Bruce Willis was still in "Moonlighting." My stepdad really enjoyed the sho,w but I did not.
The film started in THX, and I knew this might be something different. Well, I was right.
The opening has John McClane(Bruce Willis)at the airport, meeting his driver Argyle.
John McClane has been invited to L.A. for his wife's Christmas Party; he is a Police Officer from New York City.
They drive to Nakatomi Plaza, which was the Fox Plaza.
The only thing happening in the building is the Corporate Christmas Party on the 30th floor. The problem is at the same time, there are some heavy-handed party crashers entering the building about the same time.
Hans Gruber(Alan Rickman)and his group are there to crash the party. They are after the Barbonds that they have locked in their safe.
With a small chat with their boss, Gruber makes short work and decides they will do things the hard way.
John stumbles upon this meeting of the minds and hits his head upon leaving, then the chase is on in what I feel is THE BEST Action film of all time. I am sure some people agree with me on that.

McClane runs all around the building and tries to keep the party crashers busy chasing him and not after the others in the building.
The action is quick and smart Alan Rickman plays the best villain since Darth Vader.
John McClane does not get a lot of respect from the police force that shows up, he is often mistaken for one of the terrorists.
He does have one outside supporter and friend in
Sgt. Al Powell(Reginald Veljohnson)
I enjoy watching this film anytime of the year, not just Christmas, get the group together and get ready to be blown away.
