Andreas Hedlund is a varied man playing in countless Heavy Metal bands over the years. Borknager being one of them bringing us one of the years best albums(in my opinion)URD.
That being said how does this album compare? Well for starters it is a different band and this a different approach again to the heavy metal music scene, with a great sound.
There are clear clean vocals and then heavy and dark.
(Band Bio)
Mastermind and visionary Andreas Hedlund alias VINTERSORG has been playing an important role in the music scene since the early 90's. In particular, his two brilliant albums "Till Fjälls" and "Ödemarkens Son" became classics of the genre and brought new impulses to the Folk Metal scene. His latest album "Orkan" combines the best of two worlds. Namely, his folk tinged
roots and the progressive songwriting of his latest works.
I really enjoy the mix of metal and the orchestration mix of the entire album, this is clearly a love for them as all the songs are 5+ minutes long. The longest song clocks in at 7:25 minutes
Polarnatten is the name of the song.
Thank you for reading this
