CD Review: Mos Generator- Nomads(Released Oct 23, 2012)Ripple Music

If you like classic Southern Rock with Washington roots then Mos Generator is your band. This is great rock n roll!

(Band's Bio)

In 2001, the Port Orchard, Washington trio of Shawn Johnson (drums), Scooter Haslip (bass),

and Tony Reed (guitars/vocals) emerged from the jam room and studio to the live stage as Mos

Generator and began to shake the Pacific Northwest with their incendiary and uncompromising

live performances.

Have a look and listen , just in awe as I am??Thought so!

No B.S. and straightforward music with guitar, bass & drums! That is what I was raised on folks!

The only reason that I am reviewing a release this old is because I just got the approval to review for Ripple Music/Clawhammer PR just this past Friday(Feb 22nd) and so this is one that I have read about and this is a Ripple Music band, so there that is the reason :)

I never tire of Rock n Roll mostly when done right and these guys have got it all as far as I am concerned. Rock music has always been more about the music than the image per say shirts and jeans are all that you need when the music speaks this well.

"Solar Angels" has a great lead in and then we are treated to some great guitar work. All around this sounds like another great start to some great music.

There is nothing flashy about this music , but that's what makes it great save that for the Lady Ga-ga's of the world, this is Rock n Roll.

Have a look at their other video here:

Thank you for reading this

Sincerely

Anthony Nadeau
