From the moment the camera starts rolling we are swept into a reality that faces a mass majority of our tweens and teens. Bullying.
First off a father tells us of his son with images playing of his son when he was young, the majority of the narrative for this documentary is either of that of the child/parent-there is very little narrative except when needed.
The truth and sad fact is that our children of this world are killing themselves at an alarming rate but we as the adult feel helpless, there was bullying in our day as well but when the bell rang that was it, we went home.
Kids today are still bullied via the internet, smartphones etc ,etc.
There is no quick fix to this problem but the worst part is, does anyone know why the pink shirt is being used as an anti-bullying shirt?
The young man in the picutre above is bullied so much on the school bus, so much that the video that was taken was shared with his parents and his school officials. His parents were told time and time again by the school, we will take care of this.
There is a young woman(left) that is not allowed to play basketball because the other players don't want to touch her. Her family is ignored because of who she is.They are outcasts in their own community.
I do not know what can be done but people need to speak about it there needs to be a place where these kids either the bullies or the ones being bullied can go and speak about it-the bullies are bullies for a reason and once we figure that out there might be an answer, who knows?
