Long before Devildriver ever happened there was the band Coal Chamber with Dez singing the lead vocals and they even did a cover of Peter Gabriels "Shock The Monkey" with no other than Ozzy Osbourne.
While he may never sing those songs again this was who he was then and this also shows his versatility as a singer for looking like a lost memebr of The Cure. The past is what it is and that also spawned the awesomeness of this band.
When they released The Fury of our Makers Hand I ran out and got it from my local CD store at the time and it included a DVD with videos and the videos were censored swear words were omitted from them and I was pissed and wrote the label and never heard back.
This is their first album with Napalm Records they were previously with Roadrunner Records.
I have been told by a few people in the past that Devildriver is not Death Metal then I guess they are Heavy Metal whatever genre they might be a part of they are awesome, never sounding the same and branching out and trying different sounds like the strong songs
on the album are "Ruthless, Winter Kills Tripping Over Tombstones & Sail(AWOLnation Cover).
Their cover is better but I am just being biased I guess-lol
This is a great album and there are some fierce songs and they really pack a punch, like getting hit hard in the stomach. The guitars and the booming bass and the hardcore drumming I cannot wait to see them on tour with Trivium to support this album.

A band that has been around this long and decides to cover a popular song that I played this song along with the original and synced them to run at the same time there is not difference except for the instuments used.
