It all started off innocent enough in 2005 when Gary Busey(Lethal Weapon) starred in the first Gingerdead Man now if you think of a serial killer that is reincarnated and then brought back to life in a cookie there you have this film, yes folks it's cheesy but fun.
Then a year later there would be Tommy Chong(Cheech & Chong)in Evil Bong.
Now we move ahead to today where Full Moon Features is releasing Gingerdead Man Vs Evil Bong. For people like myself that have been unable to access anything Full Moon and have not seen the three previous films from both these soon to be iconic names in horror this was a quick way of catching up as they have flashback sequences that really help in catching you up with what is currently happening. However I have been asked to review their streaming service as well so maybe I will catch another film there as well.
Sorry folks there are no Meryl Streeps acting here there are a few bare breasted women that is a staple of low budget horror(Roger Corman started all that)and this happens right after the start credits happen.
GingerdeadMan has been relaxing far too long and needs to find the woman that made him into the crusty old man he is now-Boom into the hands of one of his bare chested helpers comes the paper and the front page is all about the women in questions bakery, determined to find and kill her Gingy is on the move.

I told the folks at Full Moon that this is like an early Christmas present for me to be able to review for them as when I was Assistant Manager of the video store back in the 90's we had screeners sent to the store and fell in love with the work of Charles Band and the group at Full Moon Entertainment(back in the day that was the name)I even kept a few of them as well.
The group of actors do the best they can with the material I mean after all the title characters are poorly animated but that is half the fun and seeing that the actors clearly had fun making this film is worth the joy of watching this.
The two lead actors of the film do a great job in their roles this is not something that will earn awards at least not from ones that get televised, but I am sure Mr Charles Band & Company are just worried about entertaining people more than awards anyways.
