CD Review: Pet The Preacher: The Cave & The Sunlight(Released May 6th, 2014)Napalm Records

Some more great music is being released there is so much that is coming my way that already having the music piling up and trying to keep the reviews current is a hard task , this past week there were 20 releases out and this week has 12 hard to keep up and get it all reviewed as well.

That being said there is some that does stand out more than others like this release I have really enjoyed the vibe from it , the bluesy feel in songs like "Remains"(video below).

Overall this is a great album that has the depth to be one of the better albums of the year, the unpredictability of it all makes it so much better ,grooving tunes and yet a dark mood with great riffs , bass lines and drums all the elements coming together for some great music.

Grunge and doom music is definitely present here with this band but also some great music and some classic sounding rhythms "Kamikaze Night" is easily one of my favorite songs of the year.

This is only their second album and their first with Napalm Records I say welcome to them and they are a great addition to this family of great musical riffs and rock.

Thank you for reading this

Sincerely

Anthony Nadeau
