Most noted in their directing of the underground hits "Dead Hooker in a Trunk" & "American Mary" and the soon to be released "See No Evil 2" with "Kane" of WWE Fame , the sisters are now venturing into a territory not all that unknown to them but the action genre with their new film "Vendetta" starring "The Big Show" from WWE and WCW.
A towering man even making small of big men like Hulk Hogan he also was one of the youngest champions in the history of WCW, making a name for himself when he joined the elite NWO back in the day.

It tells the story of a detective who commits a crime to get sent to prison so he can get revenge on a man serving a life sentence for killing his wife. Filming begins this summer and it will be directed by The Soska Sisters, who directed See No Evil 2 with Kane, which comes out this fall."
Directors who have had success with the transformation from horror to action films are many but few have had success as well as someone like John Carpenter who is best known for "Hallowe'en" also did one of the classic films "Escape From New York".
I am sure they can pull it off and have obviously convinced the people at WWE Studios jumping from one film straight onto another one that is awesome news not only are they great people that love their fans but they are die-hard WWE fans themselves so for being able to work with the WWE and their stars is like a dream come true.
"EXCLUSIVE: WWE Studios and Lionsgate have renewed their partnership with a six-picture deal to produce a new sextet of action pics, starting with Vendetta from twin sister directing duo Jen and Sylvia Soska (Dead Hooker In A Trunk). The Soska Twins previously combined on horror American Mary and directed See No Evil 2 starring WWE’s Kane for WWE Studios and Lionsgate. Vendetta, written by Justin Shady, tracks a hard-nosed detective who deliberately commits a crime to get sent to prison where he seeks vengeance on the criminal serving a life sentence for murdering the detective’s wife. The WWE/Lionsgate “Action six-pack” will serve as a platform for WWE Superstar wrestling personalities transitioning into acting while tapping emerging filmmaking talent behind the camera.
Hopefully one of these days I will be able to chat with the sisters and get some ideas on what goes on in their minds rather than always reading about it.
