Little Shop of Movies Review: Hector & The Search For Happiness(Available Now)

This is one of those sleeper films, which is a film that was more deserving of being seen by people than the majority of the same old factory movies that comes from Hollywood.

Hector is a psychologist and a very good one but he also has a mundane life. Every day is the same he has a shower etc and has breakfast and off to work he goes.

But he is tired of things and often wonders if his patients are happy he then feels he should go on a holiday and on that holiday he wants to Search for Happiness.

He has some incredible journeys and meets some very interesting people a great variety of people with who we share this very planet with, also some great talented actors and actresses share the screen with Simon Pegg. Stalin Skarsguard(above)Jean Reno, Toni Collette Rosamund Pike & Christopher Plummer.

He is basically searching for happiness as his life has been drained of any happiness. Amongst the many people he meets is a young woman he grows fond of to only find out she is a prostitute.

There are some great things brought to light about our individual happiness and how we can achieve that , this film was a breath of fresh air.

While the film is often light hearted there are scenes of tragedy and turmoil but with that also comes with his finding his own happiness and thankfulness for life.

This is not a film that will change your life but I will guarantee if you let it -it can teach you somewhat about happiness at the very least make you smile.

Thank you for reading this

Sincerely
Anthony Nadeau
