Short Story Cinema: Swingers Anonymous-- Classic Film Making In 23 Minutes

The films may be short as I say but often are more interesting sometimes than their full length counterparts. This is one such film.

This film also has been accepted into the Cannes Film Festival 2015-the creme de la creme of Film Festivals the one that others are mirrored of.

There is a meeting at Pauline's house and as the night progresses we scan the room as the night falls.

There are 3 prime characters in the first few minutes we have Pauline , Bill and the spent man from the night of sex , below.

The man is given his pants onto the floor by Pauline -where there is a large envelope of something which also hits the floor.

Intrigued by the thickness of the envelope Bill picks it up.

Figuring there is about $20, 000 in there he looks at Pauline who runs across the room and kicks the man on the floor straight in the face.

The she goes and fixes herself a drink where she has an accident.

This is some great film making-the story , the score in which I did ask Quincy Perkins the director about he said this about the music.

It was based on the music compositions of John Barry. Done by Chip Williams

Then with things being messed up within five minutes of each of the incidents that took place Bill then plans what he could possibly (at the same time make it believable)tell the police when they come to investigate.

Having some further troubles at home with Suzie , Bill decides to do things on his own , at Paulines, Telling those that inquire that she is on holiday and he is looking after the place for her.

Then the day the doorbell rings and is unsure what greets him , maybe he has gone totally nuts? His obsession with Pauline overcomes him? Either way this is a great little film, watched it a second time just prior to this review.
