I am not including any history of this band other than to say this --if you do not know who they are at this moment after all these years then you probably do not know or care to listen to Heavy Metal.
In the same respect there is also the fact that I was going to buy this album as I so badly wanted to hear the rest of it having already released 2 music videos and a MP3 song and have enjoyed all of those.As luck would have it I received the album in my email this morning from Adrenaline PR and could not be happier. This being the day of release of the album.
The consistency in which this band keeps putting out more great music over the years is great and am ever impressed with Randy Blythe's vocals

The video above was the first one released for the debut one for this album and has a young woman being found dead wrapped in plastic and some pretty grim undertones but some very powerful images used and the outcome is necessary as well.
I appreciate and support a band that can stay together as long as they have in any genre of music , also of recent Chris Adler the drummer of the band(back , left in photo) has also joined Megadeth as their drummer and posted about that as well.

Lots going on around here these days! I've returned from a killer session with Megadeth and am straight back to work with Lamb of God. Today we are working on a music video to accompany the new record and gearing up to leave next week for our European run. Feeling very lucky to have so many amazing opportunities. There are lots of shows coming up and of course, the album release is right around the corner now. I feel very confident in the record - it's sincere and it's mean.
More will be revealed soon but I can tell you that I'm currently working very hard trying to figure out how to be in 2 places at the same time. Anyone that's been paying attention can follow that...

There has been some concern of the man leaving the band but like a trooper has been playing 2 sets on some of the current tour --just shows the pro that he is and I admire his skills as a drummer as well. Always have always will-I am inspired by so many style of drumming.
This album is fierce and should not disappoint the most loyal fan, Randy does some more vocal approaches than what we might be used to as the first half of "Overload" is a ballad sounding song but then after that half cranks it right up L.O.G. style.
I really like and appreciate some of the new sounds and shows they are growing musically as well as a band.The musicianship as a band has always impressed me and Randy has one of the better voices in metal.
From the first song "Still Echoes" to all the others on the album this is some great music here --I am excited to be able to review it. I am overly pleased with the results of this album and is one of the better albums this year!
They are supporting Slipknot on tour this summer and are going to be here in August--going to the show, look forward to it will be the first time seeing either band live.With Vancouver and Toronto being the only Canadian dates on the tour -great show I am sure it will be.

I have already played this album about 5 times today since getting it in my email this morning there are just some bands that improve as they age "Embers" is an awesome song as well --riff and vocals man this kicks major ass!
