I look forward to seeing both Truth or Dare & Mania , they both seem like they have some great stories. Will have to wait and see if they come to Vancouver , Canada one day soon.
For now all I can share is the current press release with you.
Director Jessica Cameron's Mania continues its strong festival run with a west coast premiere on October 31st at the RIP Film Festival in Hollywood.
Mania tells the story of two lesbian lovers who are forced to flee their hometown after a brutal murder changes their lives.
The film was shot as part of the project Kill the PA, in which Jessica Cameron and nine other filmmakers traveled across the country in an RV shooting two narrative features and a
documentary along the way.
Unashamedly sexy, uninhibited, and unreserved, Mania explores the dark side of lesbian love as the relationship between its two protagonists spirals into a pit of romantic obsession
and codependency.
Fresh off its win for best horror feature at The Arizona Underground
Film Festival, Mania has created both controversy and buzz due to its nudity and its realistic depiction of lesbian sex.
Mania screens at 7:00 at the Los FelizTheater
1822 N Vermont Ave,
Los Angeles, California
90027.
If you plan on being in Hollywood on Halloween night, then this is the only place you should be.
Mania is produced by Mem Ferda, who also produced Jessica Cameron's award winning
Truth or Dare.
