Batman Vs Superman Movie Review --In Theaters March 25, 2016

                                  Story Synopsis:

It's been nearly two years since Superman's (Henry Cavill)
colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of
Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling
angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne
(Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a
threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his
reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg)
launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.

I left all my previous notions of what I should expect from this movie, not read any of the reviews, spoilers what have you as they are all over the place these days.

I did have my reservations of Ben Affleck playing Bruce Wayne/Batman but watched the film not noting that and  just watched. He did as well as he can in a role like this where so little of Bruce Wayne is seen anyways in public at least. As for being Batman 90% is the stuntman anyways , they don't risk much for their main stars these days.

Henry Cavill plays Superman again after being in Man of Steel and he does another great job here, playing him second only to that of Christopher Reeve in my opinion.

My small complaint is the late introduction of Wonder Woman she really brought a new life to this film that does indeed go on for a little past the welcome mat. These superheros need to move along a little quicker, I realize they are old but does each of these films  have to be so darn long?

Jessie Eisenberg is awful once again , always plays the same boring over talking "victim" has no charisma here as Lex Luthor and is a complete bore here. Scenes with him were painful to watch --he spoiled any parts he was in other than that I can and will recommend the film. The Senator was played well by Holly Hunter and Lois Lane(Amy Adams) was not as gruff and tough as Margot Kidder's from the 1978 & 1980.

Doomsday was another bad computer generated villain that just falls flat of anything we have not already seen in the countless and tired big bad monster in the past Superhero films --could have ended the film a lot sooner without introducing this big monster but then we would not have the ending we did. If you are a fan of the comic books and previous films , remember this is for a new generation of Superhero fans that do not know the full stories of our beloved caped (and not caped)heroes.

 Thank you for reading this

Sincerely

Anthony Nadeau
