Story Synopsis:

The residents of a small town discover that something more sinister than killer wolves is lurking in the backwoods: first the wolves start turning up dead...then people.

Been awhile since I have reviewed anything for the studio --they went through some staff changes, it's all good now and have a good number of films to review for them. I am happy once again to be reviewing for them.

Samantha(above on the ground)lives with her grandma(above) deep in the forest.  At the opening scene we witness Samantha become a victim to a wolf attack.

Her grandmother has a private service for Sam in which she passes an old tradition onto her.

She turns into the rotting corpse that in the title becomes an avenger for the townfolk as there is something bigger and more sinister than she is.

Eric Balfour is decent and understanding local sheriff where most sheriff's would be less than concerned about a few missing teens and local townsfolk , he seems to sincerely care for the missing people.

There is a bigger evil here in the woods and the sheriff gets a group of men and a few dogs to go on the standard chase to find the monster.

This was not a bad film by any mans at all, found it entertaining and kept my attention.

There were some decent kills in the film but a good number of them the lighting was poor so did not see them as clearly as the picture above.

Thank you for reading this
