Imagine my pleasant surprise when it was announced last year that Kind Diamond had a double concert album coming out--the bonus is that there was also a video DVD as well of both events!
(The pictures used in this post are screen captured from my tablet and approved for use by Nikki Law with Metal Blade Records)
I was able to view the video portion and sent the audio tracks to hear as well-I am currently doing that as I write this review.
Not being able to see King Diamond perform before , this was a treat for me--tight band as ever before.
Let's look at the first song released
"Sleepless Nights"
After all the years of hearing this man sing, I never tire of it he has more of a range than most people can appreciate. He has been singing either for King Diamond and Mercyful Fate and has quite the following for 30+ years now.
I have been a fan since the mid 1980's myself.
All the songs are fantastic and I cannot really state which one is my favorite, both shows the band and King Diamond really give their all.
Always one that has been appreciative of his fans -he makes it clear on these 2 performances how much as they sing along at certain points of the songs and he is ever grateful for it.
Overall an enjoyable time in front of the TV for a few hours and great production and audio of the performances are crystal clear.
I have included a number of videos here -they are just clips and they are all uploaded by
Metal Blade Records
Below is the LP being played by the folks at Metal Blade Records this is also from their You Tube channel.

If you are a fan of the band this is not a disappointment at all, great to finally see him in performance even if it is on DVD.
I never tire of hearing this music have been listening to it as long as I can remember.
Nikki Law was also the first person associated with a record label that allowed me to review for. When I first started out almost 8 years ago she was with Century Media Records and now is with probably the most reputable Heavy Metal label in the world
Metal Blade Records!
Thank you for reading this
Sincerely
Anthony Nadeau
