Upcoming Films--RABID- A Trailer With Bite! From Horror Twins Jen & Sylvia Soska!

With the horror genre, we often see remakes and sequels --this is a reimagining and it looks terrifying!

Jen & Sylvia Soska(above) are die-hard horror fans themselves and have assembled quite a great number of films over the years themselves.

Dead Hooker In A Trunk,  American Mary, See No Evil 2, Vendetta(just to name a few)

In their newest film RABID, they are tipping their collective hat to David Cronenberg--Canada's Horror Master in reimagining his film from 1977.

David Cronenberg might be best known for his remake of The Fly -but horror fans know him for his twisted tales of Shivers, The Brood, Scanners, The Dead Zone, & Videodrome, he also has done some thrillers and dramas.

In this tale from The Soska Sisters, the tale is of a simple story that quickly becomes a nightmare that is sure to scare!

I know the trailer looks pretty creepy!

Synopsis:

What happens when you realize that to achieve your dreams you have to live a nightmare? Rose is a quiet, demure, unassuming woman in her looks and actions. Her dream is to become a famous designer in the fashion world, but a terrible accident leaves Rose scarred beyond recognition. She seeks out a radical untested stem cell treatment. The treatment is nothing short of a miracle and wallflower Rose turns into the belle of the ball. It all seems too good to be true. She is now everything she wanted to be. But everything in life comes at a price and this new found perfect life is no exception.

The two women have worked hard for where they have come and have never forgotten those who have helped them get where they are their fans.

Here is something that Jen Soska wrote on her Facebook wall this morning:

"Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for all the posts, messages, and support of us and RABID!! We’re not a big studio. We've not manufactured “stars”. Every article and review comes from someone who gives a shit, not someone who was paid off. It means the world to us to wake up to so much love for the film we poured our hearts and souls into. This was the hardest production of our lives.

THANK YOU more than a simple status update can say. You mean everything to us. If we can follow our dreams, so can you. We started by maxing out our credit cards and now we’ve had the honor to be the first directors to remake a film by our greatest influence, David Cronenberg. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for the support. And thank you for checking out the RABID trailer! We cannot wait to come home to FrightFest’s 20th!"

That is important as far as I see as being thankful is not something to forget for any of us. I am thankful to be able to share this with you and I look forward to seeing the film when it is available to view!

Thank you for reading this

Sincerely

Anthony Nadeau
