HELL HATH NO FURY is the story of one woman who single-handedly takes on the might of the German war machine, the French resistance, and a band of US infantrymen. Branded a traitor by her countrymen, French national Marie DuJardin (Nina Bergman) is rescued by American soldiers on one condition: to survive, she must lead them to a cache of gold—before the Nazis return to claim it for themselves.
HELL HATH NO FURY was directed by Jesse V. Johnson and features a powerhouse cast that includes Nina Bergman, Daniel Bernhardt (The Matrix Reloaded, John Wick, Atomic Blonde), Louis Mandylor (The Debt Collector, My Big Fat Greek Wedding I and II), Timothy V. Murphy (Snowpiercer, Sons of Anarchy), former French Foreign Legion Special Forces soldier and knife-fighting technician Dominiquie Vandenberg (Triple Threat, The Mercenary, Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York) and Josef Cannon (Helsing University).

Well Go USA hardly disappoints with their films and this one is no different!
Jesse V. Johnson directs here, he directed Triple Threat back in 2018, with Tony Jaa & many other martial arts stars.
Marie DuJardin(Nina Bergman-above) is traveling with her husband when their driver stops as something is blocking the road, upon leaving the vehicle, he is shot. Her husband leaves the vehicle and she is left to fend for herself. He then singlehandedly takes out the would-be assassins.
Three years later and back in France we see Marie as she is getting her head shaved by some people in her town, prior this we see some archival news footage explaining what actually happened back in the day to women who were Nazi sympathizers, to make them less attractive to men, including Nazis.
Marie is freed from her captors by some American soldiers who are knowing that she knows where some German gold is, it is the agreement that they have come upon together.
Sounds nice and simple right? Well, Marie is not a pushover and has a little left up her sleeve and when she comes unglued-look out, everyone.
They make their way to a graveyard as that is where the gold is apparently hidden, they come across a man digging a grave, they send one of their men to sit with him as they interrogate Marie.
Another man shows up who is a friend of the gravedigger and a small battle ensues and he has dug himself some holes in the ground to escape through and it really leads to some great moments in the film.
During the chaos, Marie breaks free and she is a force to be reckoned with and Nina Bergman, really commands the screen it is after all mostly to do with her character but she's very good here!

More of the struggle between her and the American soldiers happen and I am glad that she was treated like an equal in the story and not a piece of meat.
I am not the biggest fan of war movies, but once in a while something comes along that tells a different story and this one really packs a punch in my books!
