The Maple Ridge Christmas Haven Needs Your Help!

A local charity is in need of the public's help in a different way this year. Like every year since 1998, Maple Ridge's annual event Christmas Haven is a place that makes sure that no one is alone at Christmas time. It's a time of year that can bring a great amount of sadness and hardship for a lot of people. The event is and always has been a FREE event, this year is a little different as they need more than just volunteers to help, below is from their Facebook page.

"Dear Friends & Fans, not so good - and great news: The cost of our beloved, free event has skyrocketed. We now need to pay a rental fee plus our catering cost has increased by 1/3! Anyhow," the show must and will go on" and we are beyond excited to announce a fundraiser, organized by our good friends The Reach Neighbourhood Pub & Grill!       All proceeds will go towards Christmas Haven! Thank you folks. If you can/want to join us for the Red Party event on Saturday, Dec 02, 2023, please do. We look forward to partying with you all!"

Below is what the Maple Ridge Christmas Haven has been providing to the community for 

25 years now.

Join us for a FREE turkey dinner with all the fixings, catered by Whisk Catering! 

Enjoy live local entertainment, a visit with Santa and Mrs Claus, children’s crafts/face painting, and a delicious dessert bar. Dinner is served from 5 pm to 7:00 pm with other festivities going to 8:00 pm. No reservations are required for this event.
