Coming Soon To Behind The Scenes

This is a new section for me on my website, just to bring you, the reader up to date on a few things. Next month is going to be my 14th year doing this website, and with that, I have been thinking about venturing off the beaten path I have made for myself and trying some different things. Not to worry, there will be lots of movies, TV, music, etc as usual, however, I am looking at doing some extra things, what they are entirely I am not sure. But, I know that it will not be news, sports, or politics, we all know there are a lot of sources for all that already.

I am getting back to the interviews again. I will share them on my website and with the post will have the interview with the artist's music, film trailer, etc.
I have a few that are confirmed this month, with a few more to come.

APRIL 16
INTERVIEW WITH DÅÅTH
Tuesday, April 16th

I just did a feature post on the band a few days ago and on Thursday I was asked if I would like to interview them.
Thank you to Liz Ciavarella-Brenner with Earsplit PR for making this happen.

Lauded progressive death metal outfit DÅÅTH has emerged from its thirteen-year hiatus with a new album, The Deceivers, set for release May 3rd via Metal Blade Records.

INTERVIEW WITH MARCELA BOVIO
Tuesday, April 23

I first saw Marcela back in 2015, when I was reviewing Ayreon's The Theater Equation.
It's a live concert that was recorded & taped in front of a live audience.
I was so taken by it, I was fortunate to have been sent a physical copy of the CD with the video of it as well.
I contacted her via her website and she responded and said that she would be happy to do an interview with me.
I have been following her on Facebook and she recently made a post of her singing an opera song by Purcell, Thy Hand, Belinda, When I Am Laid--see the video below;

                       INTERVIEW WITH STEVE MANN-LIONHEART
WEDNESDAY APRIL 24TH
Steve Mann (MSG, ex-Liar) - lead guitar/backing vocals

Lionheart's new album came out on March 15th, it has been a while in the planning stages, but I will be interviewing him on April 24.
Thank you to Nathan Birk with Metalville for making this happen.

As soon as the previous album The Reality of Miracles hit the shelves in 2020, LIONHEART knuckled down to record the next one, deciding early on that this time they would produce a concept album. The record centers around WW2, but the band very much wanted to make this an anti-war album, while at the same time remembering those who fought for our freedom.

In the tense thriller CASH OUT, John Travolta is Mason, leader of a high-end crew of thieves that hang it up for good after a double-cross spells a near miss with the law. But when he’s thrust into his younger brother Shawn’s hare-brained scheme to rob a bank – and tempted by what could be his biggest score ever – Mason jumps right back into his old ways. Included among the authorities waiting to nab the crew is someone Mason knows well: lead negotiator Decker (Kristin Davis) — Mason’s former lover.
