The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, Extended Editions, Coming To Theaters This June!

This is a press release that I have done myself, as a movie buff and big fan of the stories that J.R. Tolkien wrote in his life I am excited to share this news with you.
Hopefully being in one place can help you better plan your trip to the theater.
I do not work for Cineplex and I have not been paid to do this.

One of my favorite series of books that follow the tales of Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit is the story of his nephew Frodo and his best friend and companion Sam Gamgee in The Lord Of The Rings.

I have all of these extended versions of the films here at home, but have only seen the very first one in the theater and am very excited that they are coming back to the theater, with this being the first time the extended versions have played in the theaters.

The series of films will be playing across Canada in select Cineplex theaters, listings below

Langley, Richmond, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg,  Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Guelph, Vaughan, Burlington, Oakville & Toronto.

In the first part of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings, a shy young hobbit named Frodo Baggins inherits a simple gold ring. He knows the ring has power, but not that he alone holds the secret to the survival--or enslavement--of the entire world. Now Frodo, accompanied by a wizard, an elf, a dwarf, two men, and three loyal hobbit friends, must become the greatest hero the world has ever known to save the land and the people he loves.

In the part second of the Tolkien trilogy, Frodo Baggins and the other members of the Fellowship continue on their sacred quest to destroy the One Ring--but on separate paths. Their destinies lie at two towers--Orthanc Tower in Isengard, where the corrupt wizard Saruman awaits, and Sauron's fortress at Barad-dur, deep within the dark lands of Mordor.

"One ring to rule them all. One ring to find them. One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them." In the conclusion of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings, as armies mass for a final battle that will decide the fate of the world--and powerful, ancient forces of Light and Dark compete to determine the outcome--one member of the Fellowship of the Ring is revealed as the noble heir to the throne of the Kings of Men. Yet, the sole hope for triumph over evil lies with a brave hobbit, Frodo, who, accompanied only by his loyal friend Sam and the hideous, wretched Gollum, ventures deep into the very dark heart of Mordor on his seemingly impossible quest to destroy the Ring of Power.
