The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) 2025 Fall Series brings together jaw-dropping films, guest speakers, and the energy of a community that lives for adventure, from November 12 to 18 in Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and Squamish, as well as online from November 19 to December 14, 2025. https://vimff.org/

Step into the theatre and into the mountains. Each night, the Fall Series brings together jaw-dropping adventure films, guest speakers, door prizes, and the energy of a community that lives for it. From ski lines to climbing walls, biking epics to cultural journeys, these shows are the pulse of mountain life.

Films will screen at the Rio Theatre in Vancouver, Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver, Kay Meek's Art Centre in West Vancouver, and The Backyard in Squamish, as well as online for audiences worldwide. VIMFF brings communities together and provides a platform for filmmakers, artists, outdoor enthusiasts, and the public to exchange ideas and experiences.

                       

The VIMFF connects our global outdoor community with international filmmakers, creators, and speakers to inspire, entertain, and bring mountain adventure into the homes of our viewers. We offer mountain film screenings, live multimedia presentations, photography exhibitions, workshops, seminars & other special events.

We invite you to join us throughout the year, as we continue to celebrate and embrace mountain film and culture, outdoor sports, and environmental initiatives. Our Mission is to celebrate outdoor adventure and mountain culture through film, photography, presentations, and workshops, inspiring adventurous thought and action for the betterment of people and the planet.

VIMFF presents unique outdoor films and content that showcase experiences and cultures from all corners of the globe, bringing communities together to promote positive values and active lifestyles. We have adapted our shows for a virtual setting online from November 19 to December 14, 2025, enabling us to connect with audiences in their homes while expanding our reach globally.

Driven by a passion for film, culture, and the outdoors, the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) Society aims to promote an appreciation for movies and filmmaking while inspiring, informing, and educating the public in these areas. VIMFF achieves its aim by producing film festivals and photo exhibits, and providing a forum for filmmakers, artists, outdoor enthusiasts, and the public.
