PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE premiered In Competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019, where it won Best Screenplay and the Queer Palm, and later screened at Toronto International Film Festival. The film stars Noémie Merlant (Tár) and Adèle Haenel (Water Lilies).

A promising undercover agent assigned to lure and arrest gay men defies professional orders when he falls in love with a target. PLAINCLOTHES is Carmen Emmi's directorial debut and stars Tom Blyth (The Hunger Games:The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) and Russell Tovey (American Horror Story). PLAINCLOTHES had its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival in 2025, where it won the U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award for Ensemble Cast.
