Vancouver, BC – Transparent Film, in association with the Knowledge Network, will present the world premiere of documentary feature EMERGENCE: WOMEN IN THE STORM from award-winning directors Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper (Metamorphosis, Incandescence)

EMERGENCE: WOMEN IN THE STORM is written and directed by Nova Ami (Metamorphosis) and Velcrow Ripper (ScaredSacred), produced by Nova Ami, executive produced by Patrice Ramsay (The Society Page) and edited by Sarah Hedar (Lay Down Your Heart). The film is composed by Mary Ancheta (Nosocomephelia) with cinematography and sound design by Velcrow Ripper and poetry by Meghan Fandrich from “Burning Sage: Poems from the Lytton Fire” Caitlin Press, 2023.
