Liz Larsen, Dennis Boutsikaris & Zack Robidas to Star In Crime Feature "Play The Edge"

 Cape Cod, MA (February 18, 2026) –  It was announced today that writer/director Peter Horgan (How to Rob) has confirmed the cast for his sophomore crime feature Play the Edge, a holiday thriller set on Cape Cod, that has gone to camera in Chatham, Massachusetts. 

The film's cast includes 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards nominee Liz Larsen (The Baltimorons, Mr. Robot) alongside Dennis Boutsikaris (Better Call Saul, Sugar), Zack Robidas (Succession, Dying for Sex), Lance A. Williams (Don’t Look Up, Equalizer 2), Katie Silverman (New Girl, PEN15) and Josh Koopman (Earlybird, American Hustle).

Play the Edge follows a recently demoted pizza chef who sets his boss up for a robbery on Christmas Eve. Thirty minutes before the armed robbers arrive, he hits the lottery. What happens when he tries to slam the brakes on a half-brained plan that's already too far in motion?

Play the Edge is produced by AFI alum Becca E. Davis, alongside Mike Hansen and Kathrene Gawel, and executive produced by Ian Brownell (The Dead Thing, On These Grounds), Todd Remis (Under the Silver Lake), Larsen and Robidas. Mike Hechanova of Urban Mouse Productions is attached as cinematographer. The film is set at the historic Chatham Orpheum movie theater, in partnership with Pizza Shark Inc.

Horgan's debut feature How to Rob had its world premiere at IFFBoston, where it was picked up by Good Deed Entertainment's Cranked Up Films for North American distribution and Nicely Entertainment’s Darkly Entertainment for international. Boston Herald called How to Rob “a winning debut,” with Scottish BAFTA-nominated Chinaza Uche (Silo) and Koopman as a two-man stick-up crew, robbing criminals from Boston to Cape Cod.
