Being a big fan of SCTV and seeing Martin Short was going to be in a movie directed by Joe Dante, I knew I had to see it back in the day in the theater. I had a copy of the film on VHS back in the day.
For those who are not familiar with his work, Joe Dante has directed such movies as Explorers, Gremlins, & later in his career, The Burbs & Small Soldiers.Martin Short stars as Jack Putter, a neurotic, stressed individual, who goes to his doctor with a long list of problems troubling him. His doctor suggests some time off work, with relaxation and minimal stress.
What ends up being a hilarious adventure for us, the viewing audience, is even a bigger stresser for Jack. Upon visiting his doctor again, Tuck can speak directly to Jack, and it gets him even more worked up.
Sitting in the waiting room, Martin Short is joined by his SCTV alumni, Joe Flarety & Andrea Martin for a funny little scene.
Across town, Tuck Pendleton(Dennis Quaid) is preparing to be miniaturized and put into a syringe and eventually injected into the body of a rabbit for scientific purposes. However, we have rogue scientists who are trying to steal the new technology. In the attempt to prevent this from happening, one of the lead scientists makes a break for it and ends up putting Tuck into Jack instead.

The film has so much 80s charm that it holds up incredibly well, and all of the bonus features are a treat for those of us who enjoy them.
I often forget how many special features there are on a disc when most of what I am sent to review is just a link, with no added special features. Arrow blows me away with every release they put out, with the transfers, the booklets, and poster(s)
